Alameda,CA : Four-car crash on I-680 in Alamo brings traffic alert on January, Tuesday 30th 2018

A crash involving several vehicles Tuesday morning caused the California Highway Patrol to issue a brief traffic alert.

The CHP said nobody was reported to be injured in the crash, which happened on northbound Interstate 680 just south of the Stone Valley Road exit around 7:15 a.m. According to the CHP, four cars were involved but nobody was injured.

The wreck blocked the three left lanes, and the CHP issued a Sig Alert for severe traffic around 7:30. The traffic alert lasted about five minutes before the CHP announced that the lanes were clear.

Traffic was expected to remain slow for much of the morning.
