BANKS, ID : 2 dead in Highway 55 crash on Monday, 24th August, 2020

Two women died in a two-vehicle crash north of Banks on Highway 55 Monday afternoon.

The women were the driver and passenger in the same vehicle.

Boise County Chief Deputy Coroner Mike Johnson said the two women died on scene of blunt-force trauma injuries. Next of kin had not been notified as of 5:30 p.m. Monday.

"Everything is still under investigation," Johnson said
