The 21-year-old Grafton man who died after crashing into a Shrewsbury pond Saturday morning was identified by authorities as Deven Jared Koenig.
Shrewsbury firefighters responded to a report of a crash around 4:30 a.m. Saturday. A car crashed into Jordan Pond with one person trapped inside.
The car, a 2017 Nissan Altima, flipped over and was on its roof. The car was partially submerged in about 4 feet of icy water, fire officials said.
