A Milo woman died Tuesday night after crashing her car on Interstate 95 southbound in Medway while talking on her cellphone, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The driver’s name will be released Wednesday, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The crash in the I-95 median at mile marker 244 was reported at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. State police said the car drifted into the median and then rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof.
Weather was not considered a factor in the crash, according to McCausland. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
