A woman was killed and two others, including a 2-year-old girl, were injured after a crash on Interstate 270 that left traffic on the interstate snarled for hours Thursday morning.

It happened around 7:30 in the southbound lanes near Manchester Road.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Amber Johnson, 24, was driving south on I-270 when she lost control of her car. The car spun clockwise and was struck on the driver's side by a semi-truck. While the semi was pulling over to the shoulder, Johnson's car was pinned beneath the trailer.

Johnson was killed in the crash. Two-year-old Lyla Johnson and 28-year-old Joshua Parker suffered minor and moderate injuries respectively.
