A man is in the hospital after he lost control of his pickup on Interstate 37 near Port Avenue.
About 5:47 a.m. the man, who was traveling north on Interstate 37, lost control of his Ford pickup and struck a median, Lt. Chris Hooper said.
When officers arrived they found the pickup upside down on the road, Hooper said.
The wreck caused other minor crashes and traffic was backed up in the area for more than an hour, he said.
The man was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial and his age and condition are unknown as of Tuesday morning.
