MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP, MI : Hit-and-run leaves 26-year-old dead in Mt. Morris Township on Sunday, 9th June 2024

Police are investigating the death of a 26-year-old man Sunday night in Mt. Morris Township as a hit-and-run case.

Mt. Morris Township Police Chief Michael Veach said the body of Sabastian Jacob Klein was found near the intersection of Elms and Kelly roads around 10:25 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators used a fingerprint scanner to identify the body.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene before police arrived. The Mt. Morris Township Police Department and Michigan State Police collected evidence at the scene Sunday night.
