MARYVILLE, MO : Two vehicles were involved in a wreck on Monday, 2nd April 2018
Two vehicles were involved in a wreck Monday morning at the corner of First and Walnut streets
Maryville Public Safety Officer Jessica Wilson said Lila O’Riley, 61, of Maryville was driving her 2015 Chevrolet Equinox eastbound on First Street when Frank Foster, 46, of Maryville, traveling northbound on Walnut Street, failed to stop his 2012 Kia Sportage at a posted stop sign and crashed into the Equinox.
“She got spun up into the yard,” Wilson said. “Her front passenger side was struck by the front of his truck.”
The call came from OnStar at 7:57 a.m., Wilson said. She said several witnesses said Foster did not stop at the stop sign.
Foster’s 5-year-old daughter was in the vehicle at the time, buckled into her forward-facing, high-back booster seat.
“There was no glass on her that I could see,” Wilson said.
Both drivers were taken with injuries to SSM Health St. Francis Hospital by Nodaway County Ambulance, Wilson said.
