LANSING, MI : Man seriously injured in car-motorcycle crash on Sunday, February 18th 2017

A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a collision with a car on Lansing's north side.

The crash happened about 3:40 p.m. on North Larch Street at Lake Lansing Road.

A motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, Lansing police Sgt. Ryan Wilcox said.

Police closed the intersection for more than two hours while they investigated the crash.

The crash remains under investigation, and no other details were immediately available.
