WILLIAMSPORT, TN : Deadly head-on crash under investigation in Maury County on Sunday, 19th May 2024

One person was killed and another was hospitalized after a head-on collision in Water Valley community of Maury County on Sunday morning.

The Maury County Fire Department was dispatched to a crash on Steam Mill Hollow Road just before noon on Sunday. They arrived to discover two vehicles had collided head-on.

There were five occupants between the two vehicles and one was pronounced dead at the scene, Maury County Fire said. One other person was transported by Maury Regional EMS to a trauma center for treatment, while the remaining three were not injured.
