ARLINGTON , TX : Man killed in crash on U.S. 287 in Arlington on Thursday, 20th October 2016

A 68-year-old man died in a one-car crash on U.S. 287 in Arlington early Thursday morning, police said.

The man was driving north in the 4600 block of the highway, near Interstate 20, about 5:30 a.m. when he lost control and hit a guardrail. He was ejected from his vehicle and taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.

Investigators are still looking into the crash. Weather is believed to be a contributing factor, police said.

The man’s name has not been released by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
