HARTFORD, CT : Injuries reported from 3-vehicle crash on I-84 in Hartford on Monday, 20th May 2024

Interstate 84 eastbound in Hartford was closed on Monday morning because of a three-vehicle crash.

The state Department of Transportation said the closure was between exits 48 and 49. The highway has since reopened.

However, more than 3.5 miles of traffic congestion built back to West Hartford, the DOT said.

The crash was first reported around 6:50 a.m.
