Vancouver, WA : 1 dead in early morning Vancouver crash on Northeast 136th Avenue on Wednesday, 9th January 2019

One person died Wednesday morning in Vancouver in a crash involving multiple vehicles.

A man driving northbound on Northeast 136th Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a southbound vehicle head-on. He died as a result of injuries in the crash.

The woman driving the southbound vehicle was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The force of the impact sent her car into a third vehicle.

The driver of the third car was uninjured, police said.

Police did not immediately identify the deceased driver. The crash is still under investigation, and it’s unclear what caused the incident.
