LAKE TWP, OH : Four people killed Sunday in a fiery crash on Sunday, September 24th 2017

The names of the four people killed Sunday in a fiery crash are being withheld until the Stark County Coroner’s office can obtain positive identifications.

Family members of the vehicle’s owner have been contacted and asked to provide DNA samples to help with the process, investigators said Monday.

The Ohio Highway Patrol reported that two men and two women were killed in the crash, which involved a 2016 Dodge Challenger.

The car struck a tree and burst into flames Sunday evening off state Route 43 just south of State Street.
