Anaheim,CA : Driver killed after hitting contractor’s truck on freeway on August, Tuesday 29th 2017

Authorities say a driver was killed when a car plowed into a construction sign and a contractor’s truck along a Southern California freeway.

The California Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on State Route 91 in Anaheim.

The CHP says the Lexus sedan crashed into a large arrow sign and a construction contractor’s truck near an off-ramp.

The driver of the sedan was killed. The contractor, who was hooking the sign to the truck, escaped injury.

All lanes of the eastbound 91 were closed for about two hours while the crash was cleared and officials investigated.

The cause of the collision isn’t yet known.
