14-year-old killed in early morning Vineland traffic accident

The 14-year-old was identified as Vineland High School North student Alexa Strittmatter, according to the school districtA 14-year-old female was struck and killed early Wednesday morning, according to police.The incident occurred on South Main Road between Magnolia and Elmer roads, said Vineland Police Capt. Rudy Beu.According to a tweet by the Vineland Police department, Main Road was closed down following the accident and motorist were instructed to follow an alternative route.
