Troy Township, IL : Man seriously hurt in crash on Route 408 in Troy Township, Crawford County on Friday, 14th September 2018

A Centerville man suffered suspected serious injuries and was flown from the scene of a one-vehicle crash Friday on Route 408 in Troy Township, Crawford County.

Corry state police said a Ford Ranger driven by Carl R. Gates, 84, of Centerville, was headed east on Route 408 at about 12:20 p.m. Friday when the vehicle dropped into the right shoulder ditch while Gates was negotiating a sharp left curve at the intersection of Troy Center Road.
