RALEIGH, NC : Pedestrian struck, injured in Raleigh crash on Wednesday, 14th September 2016

A man was being treated for serious injuries after being struck by a car Wednesday night.

Raleigh police said the man was struck by a car on Garner Road just after 8:15 p.m. The man was taken to WakeMed for treatment of life-threatening head injuries.

Garner Road was closed for about two hours between Calloway Drive and Newcombe Road while investigators cleared the scene.
