Jacksonville, FL : Jacksonville man killed in Beach Boulevard motorcycle accident on April, tuesday 25th 2017

A 71-year-old Jacksonville motorcyclist was hit and killed Tuesday afternoon in the 10300 block of Beach Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Higinio P. Gonzalez of Monty Lane was east on Beach Boulevard in the middle lane when he entered the Forest Boulevard intersection about 1:10 p.m. as a car headed west tried to make a left turn, police said. The car hit Gonzalez’s motorcycle and he was thrown off, police said. Taken to a hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said. He was wearing a helmet.
