A Brooklyn Park man on a Harley motorcycle was seriously injured Sunday after he sideswiped a car while turning onto a road near Park Rapids, Minn.
Michael A. Rancour, 32, was going eastbound on Minnesota 87 when he tried to turn north onto County Road 20 but struck a Ford Escort traveling westbound on the highway, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The Ford's 18-year-old driver, Nolan Neval of Cokato, Minn., was not injured.
Rancour was airlifted to Sanford Health in Fargo.
Alcohol was detected in Neval's system, but it was not known if Rancour was under the influence, the State Patrol said.
