BOLIVAR, MO : Car crash leads to loss of internet service at the Public Safety Center Bolivar Mo on Wednesday, 1st May 2024

Crews restored internet service to the Bolivar Public Safety Center after a car crash knocked out service.

The car crash happened on Tuesday night. The collision damaged a poll, impacting the internet service.

All emergency services within the city of Bolivar, including police, fire, and 911 services, remained in operation on Wednesday.

“You know it’s not every day that you have a car run into a pole right next to the public safety center; it happened last night. We responded. We responded there was a power flash, luckily, that was restored quickly. Again, the internet was taken out in the local area, causing temporary disruptions, but we’re working through it,” says Bolivar City Administrator Thomas Relford.
