CHARLOTTE, NC : 1 person killed, 2 others injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-485 on Wednesday, 12th June 2024

Multiple lanes of Interstate-485 were closed in northwest Charlotte after a crash Wednesday morning. One person died in the crash and two others were injured, according to Medic.
It happened around 5:30 a.m. near Bellhaven Boulevard, not far from Brookshire Boulevard.
The entire inner loop in that area opened around 9:45 a.m., and the left lane of the outer loop reopened around 9 a.m.
