Atkinson, NH : 17-year-old died in a serious accident when car was struck by an SUV traveling eastbound on Route 111 on Wednesday evening September 10th 2014

Atkinson police confirmed that a 17-year-old died in a serious accident Wednesday evening. State police say around 4:50 p.m., Emma Jacobs, 17, of East Kingston pulled onto Route 111 from Hall Farm Road. Jacobs' car was then struck by an SUV traveling eastbound on Route 111 driven by Melissa Muzrall, 37, of Hudson. Jacobs died as a result of her injuries. Her passenger was taken to Exeter Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Muzrall was also taken to Exeter Hospital to be checked out. Route 111 was shut down for a few hours after the crash.
