Bartow County, Ga : One man killed in I-75 wreck near Adairsville early Tuesday morning, May 3, 2016

An early-morning wreck in North Bartow County claimed the life of one motorist on I-75 near Adairsville.

The one-vehicle accident occurred at some point in the early hours Tuesday morning, as the Georgia State Patrol received a call at 6:44 a.m. about the crash.

Initial reports indicate a vehicle was traveling northbound near mile marker 305 when the vehicle left the roadway, lost control and crashed.

The victim, a male driver who has not yet been identified, was ejected and fatally injured.
