Bakersville, OH : Coshocton man killed in single-vehicle crash on State Route 751 near Bakersville early Saturday morning, January 2, 2016

Deputies said a man has died after his vehicle struck a tree and rolled over early Saturday morning.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate a single-vehicle car crash on State Route 751 near Bakersville. Deputies responded to the scene on a report of an accident at about 5:53 a.m. on Saturday. Medics found Jeremiah Myers, of Coshocton, with severe injuries as a result of the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Deputies suspect Myers struck a tree that fell into the roadway. The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, turned back and went off the left side of the road. The vehicle rolled over into a ditch.
