Shawnee, OK : 23-year-old Asher man killed in fiery crash on February, Wednesday 7th 2018
A 23-year old Asher man is dead after his car left US-177 and hit a concrete culvert and came to rest in a ravine where it became engulfed in flames.
According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Ford Crown Victoria driven by Jarate Dewayne Condit of Asher left the roadway to the right about a half mile south of State Highway 59 – about 6 miles north of Asher.
It was raining and the roadways were wet at the time of the accident according to the report. Condit’s condition and the cause of him leaving the roadway are still under investigation.
Condit was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the accident. Condit was wearing his seatbelt.
