Eau Claire,WI : Eau Claire woman, 90, dies day after traffic crash on February, Monday 12th 2018

A 90-year-old Eau Claire woman has died from injuries she sustained in a two-vehicle crash Monday.

Shirley R. Olson, the driver of one of the vehicles, died Tuesday at an Eau Claire hospital.

According to Eau Claire police:

The crash was reported at 12:12 p.m. at West Clairemont Avenue and Craig Road.

Olson’s gray sedan was northbound on Craig Road when it went through a red light and collided with a tan pickup truck, which was westbound on Clairemont Avenue.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

Neither vehicle had any passengers.

Police said full details of the crash remain under investigation.
