Lebanon, MO : Man dies in motorcycle crash north of Lebanon on Saturday, December 31, 2016

A Dixon man was killed when he wrecked his motorcycle on North Missouri 5.

At about 1:20 p.m., 33-year-old Cole Jones of Dixon drove his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle off the right side of Missouri 5 about 8 miles north of Lebanon. After leaving the roadway, the motorcycle flipped and ejected Davidson, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Davidson, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene by Laclede County Assistant Coroner Mike Noyes at about 2:20 p.m., the report says.

The MSHP notes that the wreck marks Troop I’s seventh fatality for December and 42nd for the year.
