NEW YORK, NY : Police identify man killed in hit-and-run on Queens street on Sunday, January 1st 2017
Police have identified a pedestrian they say was killed by a hit-and-run driver on a Queens street on New Year’s Day.
The New York Police Department released Thomas Bradley Jr.’s name Monday. He was 52 and lived in the St. Albans section of Queens.
Police say he was found unresponsive around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Rockaway Boulevard and South Conduit Avenue in the Springfield Gardens neighborhood in Queens. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and investigators determined a car heading east on South Conduit Avenue had hit him.
They’re looking for the driver.
Investigators are also looking for another motorist in a hit-and-run that killed another pedestrian around 5 a.m. Sunday on Conduit Boulevard in the East New York part of Brooklyn. The victim there was a 53-year-old man.
