Kennett, MO : One dead in crash near Arbyrd early Tuesday morning, January 24, 2017

A crash near Arbyrd left one person dead early Tuesday morning, according to Sgt. Clark Parrott of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Parrott says the crash happened at 1 a.m. on Missouri State Highway 164, two miles east of Arbyrd. 76-year-old Edmond H. Hatley reportedly lost control of his vehicle, which ran off the road and struck a mailbox before rolling over.

Troopers say Hatley was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Dunklin County Coroner James Powell.
