Brainerd, MN : 60-year-old Walker man injured in crash on Highway 65 in Aitkin County on Friday, August 19, 2016

A 60-year-old Walker man was injured Friday when the Harley Davidson he was driving went off the roadway onto the soft shoulder and lost control on Highway 65 in Aitkin County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Eddie S. Amiot, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Centra Care St. Cloud Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The state patrol said the Harley crashed when Amiot lost control and tried to correct.

The Aitkin Police Department assisted at the scene.

The crash was reported at 1:56 p.m.
