A Delaware couple was killed Sunday morning when their vehicle was struck broadside by a semi.
Anthony Marsello, 82, was driving north on Mill Run Crossing just after 11: 30 a.m. with his wife, Nancy J., 78, when their Honda CRV was struck broadside by a semi driven eastbound on Rt. 36 by Jeremy Sloan, 36, of Sugarcreek in Holmes County.
According to witnesses, the truck ran a red light at the intersection, said Delaware Police Capt. Donald Claar.
The Marsellos died at area hospitals.
Sloan, who was hauling a liquid egg product in a tanker for Gordon Milk Transport, could be facing charges, Claar said.
