Austin, MN : Iowa Woman injured in crash with semi on Highway 218 near Austin on Monday, July 6, 2015

An Iowa woman was injured Monday when her car collided with a semi on Minnesota Highway 218 near Austin.

The crash occurred at 4:45 p.m. Megan Andrews, 20, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, was southbound on Hwy. 218 when she sideswiped a northbound semi, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Andrews suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin for medical treatment.

Austin resident Edward Schlichter, 63, was driving the semi. He reported no injuries.

The Mower County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
