Dayton, OH : Bicyclist struck and killed by a vehicle in Dayton on Wednesday, May 11, 2016
A bicyclist is dead after he is struck by a vehicle in Dayton.
Dayton police were called just before 4 p.m. to the intersection of Homewood and Grafton Avenues.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identifies the victim as 68-year-old James Schneider.
According to the 911 call, the driver stopped after striking the man. She was reportedly driving a silver SUV.
Schneider was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The 911 caller says the man was wearing a helmet.
