FORT COLLINS, CO : A crash between a semi-truck and a sedan in Fort Collins on Wednesday, 21st March 2018
A crash between a semi-truck and a sedan in Fort Collins killed a 28-year-old man, and left his 9-year-old passenger with injuries Wednesday.
The driver of the 2000 Volvo semi truck, 61-year-old Robert Young, also sustained minor injuries from the collision, which occurred at the intersection of Harmony Road and Timberline Road.
Young was making a left turn from southbound Timberline onto eastbound Harmony at 8:13 p.m. when the 2002 Buick Sedan, traveling north on Timberline, struck the semi's front end.
The Buick driver, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene by Fort Collins Police, and his 9-year-old passenger was transported to Poudre Valley Hospital with minor injuries. Young was released from the scene with his minor injuries.
