Rutherford County, TN : Teen killed in crash on I-24 in Rutherford County on Tuesday, 30th January 2024

I-24 Westbound at Exit 81 shut down Tuesday due to a deadly multi-vehicle crash.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 19-year-old was killed in the crash.

THP states that Bianca Benford was traveling east in a Nissan Altima on I-24 when her vehicle crossed the median and entered the westbound lanes, hitting a Nissan Rogue and injuring the driver.

Both vehicles rested in the two westbound lanes.
