A pedestrian was taken to a hospital after a crash reported on Greenbrae Drive in Sparks Friday night, according to police.
The crash was reported at 11:15 p.m. Friday, May 26, at Greenbrae and Dogwood Drive, Sgt. Erick Chavez said in a statement.
The initial investigation indicates the victim and a friend were walking east when a car hit him from behind at an undisclosed speed.
The victim was taken to Renown to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was cited for failure to maintain a lane, though police do not suspect alcohol to be a factor.
