Marshall, MO : A passenger car and tractor trailer collided on Wednesday, June 14, 2017
A passenger car and tractor trailer collided at the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Odell Avenue, on the south side of Marshall, Wednesday, June 14, and none of the persons involved were reportedly injured.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. as a 2004 Peterbilt Tractor — driven by John Clifford Mahnken, of Sedalia — was traveling north on the highway and a 2007 Chevy Cobalt — driven by Dre’von Ross, of St. Joseph — proceeded west from the Odell Avenue stop sign into the lane of travel, according to information from the Marshall Police Department. Ross reportedly hit the brakes when he saw the other vehicle, but was still struck by the towed unit.
Neither driver, nor the passenger of the Cobalt, was injured, according to an MPD report. However, both vehicles sustained damage.
