Canyon County,ID : Canyon County three vehicle crash on November, Sunday 26th 2017
Caldwell Police say they were on scene investigating a single vehicle crash that knocked down a stop sign at the intersection of South Indiana Avenue and Orchard Avenue.
The Caldwell Fire Department was on their way to place a temporary stop sign at the intersection.
Officers were still on scene when a second crash involving three vehicles happened.
The Idaho State Police just before 6 p.m a woman was driving north on South Indiana Avenue with two juvenile passengers in a Jeep Cherokee. She failed to yield at the intersection and struck a Chevrolet Venture traveling east on Orchard Avenue.
A third driver was traveling westbound on Orchard Avenue in a Honda CRV.
The driver of the Honda stopped prior to the intersection however was impacted by the vehicles after the Jeep Cherokee and Chevrolet Venture collided.
One driver was transported with serious injuries, a second driver was transported with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Jeep was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The driver of the Honda was transported to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.
The driver of the Jeep was not wearing a seat belt. All other drivers and occupants were wearing seat belts.
