Clifton Park,NY : 45-year-old motorcyclist killed in collision with van on Thursday night August 6th 2015

State police say a 45-year-old man has died after his motorcycle collided with a van on a suburban Albany road.

Troopers say Scott Malkoff of Clifton Park was driving his motorcycle south on state Route 9 in his Saratoga County hometown just after midnight Thursday when he crossed into the northbound lane smashed into a van.

Police say Malkoff was pronounced dead at the scene the accident, 15 miles north of Albany.

The driver of the van suffered a broken leg and was taken to Albany Medical Center.
