TITUSVILLE, PA : Titusville woman dies following car-pedestrian crash on February, Wednesday 14th 2018

City police are investigating a car-pedestrian accident that caused the death of a Titusville woman on Wednesday night.

The woman, identified by Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell as 65-year-old Kathleen Phillis, was pronounced dead at Titusville Area Hospital when she was taken there following a crash at West Main and North Monroe streets that was reported on Wednesday at about 6:40 p.m., according to Crawford County 911 and the Titusville Police Department.

Phillis died of multiple blunt-force trauma, Schell said.

Phillis was walking across a street when she was struck by a car, according to investigators. The driver of the car was not reported injured in the crash.
