ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO : Florissant man killed in crash in St Louis County on Saturday, 19th October 2024

A Florissant man was killed when the car he was driving traveled off the road Saturday evening in St. Louis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 72-year-old Gary S. Caldwell was pronounced dead at 8:13 p.m. at the scene of the crash, on Highway 94 at Dresser Island Road.

The highway patrol said the crash happened around 7:50 p.m. when Caldwell was driving a 1973 Triumph TR6 too fast for a curve. The car left the road and overturned. He was not wearing a seatbelt, the patrol said.
