Harquahala, AZ : 6 injured in serious crash on I-10 west of Phoenix on Sunday morning, January 4, 2015
A serious wreck on the I-10 west of Phoenix sent several people to the hospital Sunday morning.
The accident occurred near Harquahala just after 2:30 a.m.
Jim Frazier with Phoenix Fire Department says when they arrived on scene, they found that an SUV had rolled over during the crash.
Three patients were flown to the hospital and three more were taken by ground ambulance. Two of the victims, including a 5-year-old, had been ejected from the car.
The child suffered head injuries and two other patients suffered multi-trauma injuries, according to Frazier. Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The condition of the three seriously injured patients is not currently known.
It is not clear at this time exactly what caused the crash.
