Atlanta ,GA : Three Children Seriously injured after they thrown from a car in crash at Moreland Avenue on Sunday night ,April 12th 2015

Police say three children are hospitalized with severe injuries after they were thrown from a car in a crash just east of Atlanta.

DeKalb County police say the children's mother turned in front of a car around 11 p.m. Sunday at Moreland Avenue and Constitution Road.

WSB-TV reports that the children -- ages 11, 7, and 4 -- were ejected from the car, thrown over a guardrail and landed down an embankment.

WXIA-TV reports that the children were taken in critical condition to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, Children's Healthcare at Egleston and Atlanta Medical Center. The children's mother was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
