Circleville, OH : One woman dead and another injured in a two-vehicle crash in Pickaway County on Tuesday September 22 2015

One woman is dead and another was flown to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Pickaway County, the sheriff’s office reported Tuesday.
Jackie Pence, 60, of Circleville was driving westbound on Hayesville road in a Cadillac and stopped at the stop sign. The sheriff’s office says she failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was hit by a southbound 2011 work van.
The Saltcreek Tarlton Fire Department extracted Pence from the vehicle and she was flown to Columbus. Her passenger, 61-year-old Sandra Buckta of Circleville, was also trapped in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The van driver, 22-year-old Austin Hoagland of Waverly, was treated and released at the scene.
