Eufaula, AL : Teen pedestrian killed in southeastern Alabama crash on Saturday night, July 9, 2016
Police say a teen pedestrian was killed when she was struck by a car in southeastern Alabama.
Barbour County Coroner Sidney L. Chapman Jr. tells Al.com on Sunday that 17-year-old Jessica Hernandez was killed in the crash Saturday night.
Eufaula Police Chief Steve Watkins says the crash involved a Toyota passenger car and Hernandez, who was the pedestrian. Hernandez was pronounced dead at Medical Center Barbour.
The driver of the passenger car was not injured.
The police department's Traffic Homicide Unit is investigation the crash.
