Brooklyn, NY : Bicyclist, 22, dies after crash with SUV in Brooklyn on Sunday, 15th November, 2020

A 22-year-old bicyclist died after getting into a crash with an SUV in Brooklyn, cops said Sunday.
Juan Tiu-Caxaj, an immigrant from Guatemala, was riding north on Autumn Ave. in East New York when he failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with a 2020 Honda CRV going west on Fulton St. about 12:55 a.m. Nov, police said.
Medics took Tiu-Caxaj, who works as a food delivery rider, to Jamaica Hospital, where he was initially in stable condition but went into a coma.
“They brought him to the hospital, and I came to see him but he was already in a coma — until yesterday, when they gave us the bad news,” his brother, David Tiu-Caxaj, 36, said.
