San Jacinto, CA : Victim of fatal Ramona Expressway collision is identified as a Moreno Valley woman on Tuesday, 13th August 2019

The person who died Monday in a head-on collision on Ramona Expressway near San Jacinto was identified Tuesday, Aug. 13, as a Moreno Valley resident.

Erika Amaya, 43, died at 4:45 a.m. after being involved in the 4:34 a.m. collision, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office said.

A westbound green Hyundai sedan crossed the double yellow lines and hit Amaya’s white Chevrolet sedan near Bridge Street, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said. The Hyundai driver was hospitalized.
