Authorities investigating Saturday night crash near Brookwood, Alabama
Investigators are working to determine if alcohol was a factor in a one-vehicle crash that left four teens injured Saturday night.A 19-year-old passenger is in critical condition, the 19-year-old driver suffered a concussion and broken bones and an 18-year-old female passenger and a 17-year-old male passenger were treated for minor injuries following the crash on Camp Cherry Austin Road Saturday night, said Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit commander Capt. Loyd Baker.
The vehicle hit a tree around 11:30 p.m., Baker said.Brookwood police responded to the crash and contacted the Homicide Unit because alcohol may have been a factor in the accident, Baker said.
Blood alcohol levels have to be determined by blood tests, Baker said.
