Oklahoma City, OK : Driver indicted for crash that ended woman's pregnancy on Tuesday, 16th August, 2016
A 38-year-old Far East Side man is accused of driving drunk and causing a crash last week that ended a woman's pregnancy.
A Franklin County grand jury on Tuesday returned a 10-count indictment against Tony S. Muldrow of Darrell Court on charges that include aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault, driving while intoxicated and failing to stop after a crash.
The crash occurred at 12:49 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of S. Hamilton Road and Dundee Avenue on the East Side.
Columbus police reported that Muldrow was driving south on Hamilton Road when his truck went left of center and slammed head on into a northbound Honda Accord that was stopped at a traffic light in the left-turn lane. Muldrow drove off and made in onto eastbound I-70 before his truck became disabled and he was apprehended, police said.
The passenger in the Honda, Ghislain Ngolo, 23, was injured and the fetus she was carrying was killed. The driver of the car, Roseline Keni, 36, also was injured.
Muldrow's blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.186 percent, according to Prosecutor Ron O'Brien. In Ohio, it is illegal to drive with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or above.
